In this Augmented Reality Tutorial Real Statue of DBZ Songoku is Tracked. Various Effects are Added While Tracking.

Download # Unity3D (download and install it, if you don’t have it already) (*.exe file)

Unity3D is also available to download from here

© 1st step – preparing to scan any real 3D object (to get your tracker file):

# Print this A4 image and put any real object on top of it like shown in the video (time – 1:35) (*.pdf file)

# Download and install this app to your Android mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.)
(*.zip file (*.apk file inside))

After this do the following tasks:
a) Start the application
b) Scan your real object (More details how to scan it properly provided here)
c) Save your scan
d) Download your scanned file to your computer (*.od file – this type of file example is here)
e) Upload your scanned file to Vuforia website in order to get your Tracker file!

© 2nd step (after you have your tracker file):

Download # Download and Import Unity3D Extension (*.unitypackage file)

Unity3D extension is also available to download from here (there might be a newer version)

Download # This is Songoku real object tracker  (downloaded after scanned real object file with *.od extension was uploaded to Vuforia website and processed accordingly) (*.unitypackage file)

Right now, you should have all the necessary files for your project.

    Is there a way to paint to textures on walls/ buildings as a user moves his camera around a street anywhere.

      I would say no, it’s too hard to track even one 3D object.
